Stitch fix

Its that time of the month again!!! My stitch fix is here.

you know, every time I open and try on everything and I would be like, this is a pretty good fix, then I would go see on other bloggers' stitch fix and I'll be like, "how come I didn't get that pretty chevon dress? How come she got the cute print top and I didn't?" and I noticed that my stylist would be different..hmm okay. 

Anyways, here are the pictures and help me pick!

This is Sioban Striped french Terry 3/4 sleeve Dress from Tart. 

I feel ok in this dress. the 3/4 sleeve made my arms looks shorter than they already are and I like fitted dresses most of the time...this is $88

Top: Latisha Embellished bib Sleeveless Blous from Fun2Fun. 

This black shirt is cute but i almost wished that this one in my last box if you remember the black sleeveless blouse that I got that's similar to this. i like this but I've gotten so many Black shirts from Stitch fix i just don't know if I want another one.

Pants: VinnyAnkle Length colored Skinny Jean from Liverpool. This is a cute, mid-high rise jeans. This bright red color is super cute but the calf/ankle part is loose and I thought it would be tighter. Maybe that's how its supposed to fit, I don't know. It doesn't look too bad, right? I am not used to wear mid-rise jeans but they are pretty comfy and fit like a glove from the waist to thigh area.

top: Bixby Bird print tab Sleeve Blous from Pixley. The top felt really nice and its a silky material. Really cute and blous-y lol. I get a lot of blouse from stitch fix and I feel like its probably just their style or that's the fashion nowadays. this top is $48.

August Stitch Fix!

Finally! I got my August Stitch Fix. I skipped July because I wanted to save some money so I skipped it. This time I got all tops and a clutch. see blow for details! :D

 

yup! I love the mint color and completely fell in love with it!

Annabel Leaf Print Crochet Detail Blouse

I thought i would love this when I took it out of the box but I don't think it has done anything for me. yaa?

 

The picture angle is weird because Blake was taking them sitting down so I look horrible. Anyways, this top is Palermo Knit Tank. It feels like sweater but its sleeveless and its short. It says to pair with boyfriend jeans or strippy skirt. I don't know either, I thought I might like it since it's something I'll never pick out for myself

 

Beyonce Gold Bar Detail Blouse. I am definitely going to keep this one. cute chiffon material with the gold bar necklace which I like the simple detail.

 

the bag is the juno Small Folded Clutch.

I fell in love with it and was something that I was passively looking. So that's a keeper.

the top is called Sadie V-neck Embroidery Detail Tank. This one is a keeper too. I liked it a lot. 

I am happy with my box this month. Although I did hope to get something more fun than just tops. I also notice I do get different style artist every month. I wonder if I can keep the same one if it has done a good job on one month?.Anways. what did YOU get?? :D

outfit tuesday!!

How was everyone's weekend? My 5 day off of work is coming to an end and I go back to work tomorrow. I knew the 5 day off would be gone fast and man, it is super fast. I feel like I never sleep enough anymore~

Anyways, while being out and studying for my upcoming ACLS class and just running errands I decided to do a outfit blog today :)

 

Top: Stitch fix Hawthrone black Chiffon 

Bottom: forever 21 shorts

Accessories: charming charlies necklace/ forever 21 knot earrings/ Coach white/gray leather purse. 

Shoes: you can't see it here but I wore Francesca's black sandles.

My make up; its kind of hard to see from the pictures but I used light neutral and brown colors to create light smoky. 

hair: I just braided and pulled back my bangs and then french braid from the left side of my hard to my right. :)

I like this outfit because it was gloomy out and it wasn't too hot. 

However, it did go up to 90's degrees and I was sweating in my black shirt lol Good thing I paired it with shorts. 

Oh and also.. I had my engagement ring re-sized like 3 times. First time was because Blake got it in a size 5. It was falling off of my finger, so we went in and got it sized to 4. Then I thought it fitted fine until the next day I was still able to take the ring off without any problem and my fingers get cold easily, so at work it was literally falling off my finger.

So this past weekend we went back to Shane Co. (really recommend this place) and decided to have it resized to a 3.75... I went to pick it up yesterday and tried it on there and it was still too lose. So we decided to go down again to a size 3.5. I got the ring today and it fits PERFECT!!!  It wasn't too lose and its not too tight. you want to have trouble taking off the ring and its staying! so third time is the charm for sure! :D

they also cleaned it and its shinier than ever!

A day to myself

I did it! I survived another 3 in-a-row night shifts! It was incredibly busy this week with all the deliveries and yesterday morning when I got home I crashed. i slept from 8:30am-5:30pm!!! it was crazy! but I did get my rest. Not only that, I still slept from 12:30am to 7:30 am today! lol I have to say, I am glad I can just sleep anytime, anywhere :P

So today I thought about going to Hot yoga but then I got all these other errands to run, so I decided not to. 

First thing first, today's weather was up to high 70's again!! gotta wear them summer clothes now!

Its from Pinterest and somehow I couldn't get the lighting right but mine is actually a bit lighter than the tutorial pictures. Using it as day time look.

 

I had lunch by myself in Chipotlet-which I've never done. I've never eaten at a restaurant by myself. it's actually not bad. A little awkward but I would do anything to eat chipotlet! 

 I was going to Tjmaxx and do some sports wear shopping but noted that my 5k Foam fest was moved from tomorrow to September, i cancelled that idea. So I just went and got my nails done! 

I've never been to this place but It is super cool! this pedicure tub has LED lights!!

 

hehe I thought that was cool.

Couples Massage & Happy Easter

After a long week of work, Blake and I finally have some alone time and went for our first couple massage yesterday. I worked 4 days this week and just felt like I have been to the hospital every single day and I am so tired of going there. But I do have this weekend off and I got this couples massage coupon on Groupon.

The place is like a hole-in-the-wall kind of place. You could tell they were like starting their own business. Anyway, The masseuse I had was pretty good. He really knew what bothered me even though I said I have little stress (what a lie lol!). As soon as he touched me he said, "wow you are so built up from stress. Its ok to let go and cry once in a whlie". Then he went on saying "do you sleep on the left side? and curl up in a ball too? and clench your teeth?".. the answer was "yes, yes, and yes". and he then proceeded to try to break out the knots I have on my left side. Anywho, when I looked over to see how Booboo Bear is doing, he was enjoying his massage and I finally got to relax a little bit. The massages lasted for about an hour and half. We felt relaxed but I still feel the knots. I am sure they are better though.

Yesterday we went to our friend's house for his b-day celebration. I got into makeup and fashion mode, of course. So here's my makeup.

 

yup, red lips since I haven't been able to wear them since winter. Did my make up with neutral browns. I kinda liked it.

Shoes: I am not sure, I think the clearance rack from DSW. ($25~)

Day out & April Birch Box

The weather is super awesome this weekend, it is up to the high 70's and I am bringing out my first ever jean shorts that I got from American Eagle. Their shorts are super comfy and come in different styles. I have never worn jean shorts because I am self-conscious about my legs due to past personal history, but today I am stepping out and wearing them with my new yellow blouse that I purchased from this month's Stitch Fix. :D Also wearing my new mint leather wedges from Francesca's.

Anyways, Booboo bear and I were supposed to go look @ houses but after driving to 3 different location that I found, we didn't even get out of the car to see the model homes.

He took my sunglasses lol. He could be my gay friend :P

I got my April Birch box, and here are the stuff that came in the box!

Yogini Perfume sample by Harvey Prince (left).Sandalwood smell with natural oils. Smells calming (if that makes any sense lol). 

Then N. 4 high performance hair care: Lumiere d'hiver Clarifying Shampoo. I am always up to try new shampoo and find the best one for my hair because it is thicker and easy to break. Also my scalp is dry and right now I am use Suave Morocco oil  shampoo and its not too bad.

 

I am always up for snacks to eat at work.

 

Another N. 4 sample. This is the Reconstructing Masque. I love masks and always up for new product to try. My T-zone is dry so any moisturizing masks would be great. 

 

This creamy off-white nail polish is great for the spring and summer. 

And can't go wrong to have another eyeliner ;)

Do you have Birch Box subscription? I love receiving samples and know what is out there that I don't know. There are so many brands out there and it's always good to explore and find which products are good for you.
