Orlando trip

I haven't updated my blog for a while because I was away on a trip with Blake!! He has never been to Orlando, FL so we decided and planned (since march) to go on this mini 5 day trip. We went to universal studios and downtown Disney and Daytona beach! We did a lot in 5 days and of course, like usual..the trip ended just as fast as it started.

First day, after driving 6 and half hours we napped for an hour and half at the hotel because we left @ 5am that morning. then we went to downtown disney to start our vacation :)

just us being kids at the stores! Blake loves toys!

waiting to get seated at the T-Rex Cafe

rawr!! **

kind of skipping around but here we are shopping at Orlando Premium Outlet which has about 180 stores. We didn't get to half of them and it started pouring. Plus we were at the park that morning so we were tired anyway~

this is @ Universal Studio. Transformers 3D ride. This "Optimus prime" talks and moves. Of course, there's someone in there lol. But still cool.

then we went to Diagon Alley from Harry Potter. Now this is so new!! It was built this summer so I haven't even been here either. Its super cool! And if you look at the picture closely, the dragon that's on the top of the building blew fire. We didn't know that was gonna happen as we asked someone to take a picture of us. Pretty cool.

Blake trying his Butte Beer for the first time. I asked him to do the mustache lol.
Needless to say, we went to the beach to cool down on our last day before we leave Orlando. It was super nice. We have never been to Daytona Beach. water was warm and beach was nice. loved it!!

now that we just got back and really don't want to go back to work tomorrow. I scheduled myself to work the next 3 nights. We'll see how I do lol

ciao~

Bridal Extravaganza and house update

yesterday Blake and a couple of my bridesmaids came with me to the atlanta Bridal Extravaganze show at the Americasmart! First bridal show ever and it was super fun!!
There were a lot of vendors, hair and makeup vendors, bridal salons, fashion shows and giveaways!!
we got stickers! mine said Bride, his said Groom, then my two friends from the bottom picture had stickers that said Bridesmaid

got lots of magazines and coupons and information. and of course, goodie bags!! lol blake was being awesome by carrying all of them. Brownie points to him! <3

waiting for fashion show to start!!

trying to sort out the coupons and magazines and information sheets from the day. Issac got curious like always lol

lots of things to go through and of course threw out thins that I don't need. The bridal show made it more real to me because all I have been doing in the past 2 months were just looking online and searing for the best place and prices (and of course some websites don't even have price list for vendors and whatnot). I also got to touch bridal gowns for the first time. It was super awesome.

oh and quick update on the house!

tada!! super exciting! looks much more has been done since two weeks ago. The builders were off for a week so this a pretty fast process. The house next to us has frames already!

August Ipsy bag!

 yes!! Its finally here!
Well I've trying not to see what's in my Glam Room for this month. The bag is cute and smells like the pool lol
The first picture is one of the items that I got, Urban Decay Perversion Mascara. I am VERY VERY picky on my mascara. Only certain mascara will help keep my eyelashes curled and I haven't had bad experiences with Urban Decay yet, so we will see :)

this is the bag!

These are the products that I got.
Mongongo anti-agin lip balm, Mannai shimmer lotion, Lorab eyeliner ( this is the smallest eyeliner I have ever gotten from Ipsy bag), then glamglow facial exfoliate.

Honestly, I am disappointed with this month's bag. I don't feel like anything here is fun at all. I have tons of black eyeliners from them and I wish they would send different colors like brown or purple or something, lip balm i have tons but I guess you can never have too many. The only thing I am excited about is the mascara. Also, usually there's one item that's full sized in the bag but there's none this month. Either Mitchelle  is slacking or that the products are more expensive this month. no idea.

What did you get?

August Stitch Fix!

Finally! I got my August Stitch Fix. I skipped July because I wanted to save some money so I skipped it. This time I got all tops and a clutch. see blow for details! :D

yup! I love the mint color and completely fell in love with it!

Annabel Leaf Print Crochet Detail Blouse
I thought i would love this when I took it out of the box but I don't think it has done anything for me. yaa?

The picture angle is weird because Blake was taking them sitting down so I look horrible. Anyways, this top is Palermo Knit Tank. It feels like sweater but its sleeveless and its short. It says to pair with boyfriend jeans or strippy skirt. I don't know either, I thought I might like it since it's something I'll never pick out for myself

Beyonce Gold Bar Detail Blouse. I am definitely going to keep this one. cute chiffon material with the gold bar necklace which I like the simple detail.

the bag is the juno Small Folded Clutch.
I fell in love with it and was something that I was passively looking. So that's a keeper.

the top is called Sadie V-neck Embroidery Detail Tank. This one is a keeper too. I liked it a lot.

I am happy with my box this month. Although I did hope to get something more fun than just tops. I also notice I do get different style artist every month. I wonder if I can keep the same one if it has done a good job on one month?.Anways. what did YOU get?? :D

here;s a referral link! :D

randomlicious

Now that we have picked out our home colors and whatnot, Blake got excited and started to build our house in Sims and I started looking at all furniture that would go well in our house too lol.

My dad has been asking a lot of questions about the house and he asked me to sent him the floor plan to the house while I was at work a couple of nights ago. I told him that he will be able to see it when he comes back to the States but he said that we could make changes to the floor plan since they have not started building it yet. I told him that's not the way it goes. WE bought the floor plan. WE didn't hire a builder and built the house based on our imagination and making a floor plan. It doesn't work that way. He didn't say much else. I feel  bad saying that but I really want him to trust my judgement on buying the house and that Blake and I are happy with our decisions.

Anywho, today is our 2 year anniversary and we are going to celebrate that this saturday. Going to Ikea to look at furniture and get some ideas then have a nice dinner together :D

I am also doing a lot of "looking" for the wedding. Been looking at online websites for bridal dresses, which I think i will order it online because its cheaper and really, i am only wearing it for a day..I don't really want to drop a grand on a dress. Then i am looking at everywhere for bridesmaid dresses, whether its Etsy, Pinterest, or just google-ing them. At least now that I have been researching and looking I will know who I want to book when the time comes. :D

anyways, its an easy blog today since I just woke up from my nap (worked last night) and I can't really think much right now. Will update soon on my August Stitch Fix! :D

First home!

So Today Blake and I went to see the on-site agent at our new home to pick out colors for the house!!!
We picked out colors for the brick, siding, door, floor, countertop, cabinets and such. It was fun!! And finally got to take pictures of our new home in the making. I didn't have a chance to go and take pictures of before they broke the ground. :P

Basement and all that. Blake thinks our backyard is going to be smaller than it what we originally thought it would be. We picked this lot mainly because it's longer than the others and thought maybe we could have more yard space. But you won't know til when its almost done.

yay!

Ulta and e.l.f haul!!

Finally have time to update my blog!
I've been in class to get my ACLS certification for two days this week and then I worked last night, so here I am!
So from the last post about ebates I actually bought these items using the ebates website and got me some money back. I would recommend buying and using free shipping option if its available to save more money! But here we go!
 First! MY E.L.F bag!!

Sorry for the blurry picture. But Here's the make up brush shampoo that I've been using for a few years now. I never learned to wash my brushes until maybe like 4 years ago. The thought of my brushes not working well and not picking up colors and products saddens me. So I found this cheap shampoo which works really well. I don't think i'll go and buy a $30 brush shampoo at all. This is a great option.

My new brushes!! I wanted a stipple brush for a while now and I am glad that I finally got one. And if you haven't shopped at e.l.f. you should! they have really affordable make up products and brushes for those who doesn't want to spend a lot. (like me). i am not picky on brushes as long as they serve the purpose.

To my ULTA hault!! So I've been watching a lot of makeup gurus on youtube.com on these NYX blushes and they are cheap $4.99 each. So I decided to give them a try. Also ULTA always have the $3.50 off $10 purchase coupon, so that's what I used as well.
here are the colors that I got.

This color is called Apricot. I wanted this for the summer and possible for fall. Its a subtle orange color with a little glitter to it.
I  used this today and I loved it!
I didn't use too much because it was only for a date night. I liked it.

This color is called Pinched. Really pretty and pinkish glitter in it. I think this will look really natural on my cheeks

This color I believe is called Mocha. This is clearly a matte blush and it is what I wanted. I have those lip/cheek stain that are matte color but until i get to know how to use them properly, I am going to use my powder blushes!

This is how they look like on my arm! Top is Mocha, then middle is Pinched, the last one is Apricot.

Next I got NYX mineral "Set it & Don't Fret it" Matte finishing powder.
My Makeup Forever powder is almost gone and because I am trying to save money I decided to do some research on similar products. Even though my Makeup forever powder is pressed, I feel like this does the job well.

and I also used the powder for tonight as well. I only used my regular face moisturizer, concealer, and light cc cream then I used the powder. It looks really natural and i am glad the color matches! (One thing about shopping online)

and here are some samples that I got from purchasing at ulta!!

happy shopping!
