October Ipsy

Ipsy bag is here!! I cannot believe its October already!!

 

The bag this month is cute. The dark aqua/ turquoise color is good for fall!

From left to right.

• Jesse's Girl Mineralized baked eye shadow. This eye shadow is pretty big and looks like a full size. However, I don't really wear colors that bright or bold..But I will play with it and see if i can make something out of it.
• H20+ Face Oasis hydration cream. Like I said before, can't hurt to have more face moisturizer as I will never have to run out and buy more!
• Starlooks lip gloss. (top) This color is called Guilty Pleasure and its a nice nude-pink pigmented color. I don't like lip gloss because its sticky (but i loved it back in Middle school. i mean, who didn't? :P). But i think I can work with this one. 
• Ayres Body Butter. yay more lotion/butter!
• Skyn iceland Mini glacial facial cleansing clothes. I have a whole box of make up remover clothes (a box that I got from Costco, so its like 500 wipes) but i will give this a go too.

Overall, I would like it more if i could've gotten the eyeshadow in another color. I watched some other youtube vlogger and she got a nice purple/pink color. 

Lazy Sunday-Wedding

So I am off today and met up with two of my girlfriends to catch up and to give each of them their "Be my bridesmaid?" Box! They both were so excited and said yes!!! I am so relieved and finally can cross that off of my to do list!! Now that bridesmaids are done, we also started writing wedding guest list. According to "The Knot Wedding planning" binder that I have, its good to have guest list ready so when you book your venue for reception/ceremony it'll be easier. I still have to ask my parents who they want to invite and such. 

Anyways, so yesterday our friends and us went to the Vortex in Midtown, Atlanta to have dinner and the Laughing Skull Lounge for a comedy show after the dinner. It was for a friend's birthday. I have to say, it was super fun and a great idea to spend a birthday! The comedian was awesome ( I forgot his name) but he worked at comedy central for years and he's funny.

June Birchbox!

JUNE birchbox is here!! Even though I am thinking about cancelling the subscription, I am still excited to receive it. 

As usual, cute boxing and a little card on what's included in the box and the full price for when you want to purchase the full size item. 

Honestly, I think I am happy with most of the items in the box other than the coola sunscreen. I have about 3 of them now because they come in every box.. I feel like they could take that out of my box and send me something different.

So here in the pictures I have
Perlier-Body Cream Shea Almond. 

This is a nice lotion to have. It smells wonderful and its on the heavier side so it stays moisturized for me because I have dry skin.

Suki Exfoliate Foaming cleanser

this is a small sample but I think it'll last me at least 3 washes. I have never heard of this particular brand but I have tried face exfoliating cleanser before. I love exfoliating my face every once in a while since I wear makeup almost everyday, its a nice way to really clean out the pores.
 

 

Coastal Scents Revealed Palette in Sunset. (Below is the picture of the sample palette). Very pretty colors and neutral. I think I'll like this. 

Folle De joi parfum 

I haven't tried this yet but it smells pretty nice.

 

 Last but not least, they included this traveling survey on which city you should go to and I got San Francisco, CA!! Last time I went to CA with one of my best friends was 2 years ago and it was my first time going there. She is from Anaheim, CA and we stayed there. it was so much fun and we walked to Disneyland, which only took about 30 minutes.

Tophatter update! Benefit beauty product

So from my previous blog post about Tophatter (CLICK HERE for the post) 

I mentioned that i have bid a couple of benenfit products. The first one was a pore minimizer travel size and I forgot to take a  picture but it is a very tiny tube of pore minimizer. Well, I knew benefit wasn't going to be cheap but I probably shouldn't have bid as high as I should have ( I believe i bid $10 and paid $4 for shipping). 

But today I got the second benefit product that I bidded.

The price was $30 and bid started @ I believe $1. the final bid for me was $11 I believe and paid $4 shipping. So I paid $14 for this product. A little over 50% off of the product itself! This was a much better deal than the travel size pore minimizer

The product was brand new and sealed. A really good size and came in a booklet on where you can apply the product

can't wait to actually use it tomorrow for my cheeks and lips!

Ipsy-April Review

So before I post pictures of the Ipsy products that I got yesterday, I have to say, USPS lost my package for April. So I was going to received my April Ipsy bag about 2 weeks ago. I kept checking the tracking and it said delivered. So finally I e-mailed Ipsy customer service and they were great and said they would send me another bag. However, it wouldn't be the same products that I was supposed to get because they were limited on the stuff they have in stock. I was fine with it but came to realize that I really was hoping for the products that were in the lost bag..

Anyhow, If you aren't a Ipsy subscriber (Michelle Phan's company), you should! it only costs $10 a month and you get either full sized of deluxe size beauty products/samples! I've learned so much from just getting the bag and see what's out there!

 

Anyways! here are the stuff that I got..

cute bag. I never use my ipsy bag that came every month on a daily basis. I use them when I go traveling. 

 

I don't know if its a full size lipgloss but it is a pretty decent size. 

The lipgloss looks red, but when I put it on its actually just clear. kinda of disappointed. 

 

This may be my FAVORITE product in the bag. It smells so good!! Have you ever had Jasmine green tea? it smells just like that but more floral. Love this.

 This is a gold creamy eyeshadow from City color. Actually kind of like this. I like cream eye shadows because they last a bit longer and you can pack on the color slowly so it doesn't crease on your eyelids. 

you can barely see it from here because I've only used a little bit. But its sheer. 

 i actually really liked this. You don't have to press hard. I literally lightly went over it on the back of my hand. Very smooth. Can't wait to try this one either.
